Utah’s Own Milk – Udderly Delicious
June marks the beginning of National Dairy Month – a chance to enjoy all things Dairy, including fresh farmstead milk. On average, an American consumer will drink about 17 gallons of milk annually – so why not make sure you’re getting the best product possible?
Utah is home to nearly 100 dairy farms located across the state. Those farms produce 200 million gallons of milk annually – enough to fill 300 Olympic size swimming pools! The milk is produced by various breeds from Holstein (pictured above) to Jersey’s and Brown Swiss Cows. Our state is also home to several goat dairies, offering an alternative to cows’ milk.
Below are some Utah’s Own Members that are providing consumers with farm-fresh milk in various types, sizes and product offerings.

Springbrook Dairy – Springville

Finney Farms – Hilldale

Whole Goat Milk (pasteurized) is available for purchase at participating Utah Retailers or at the farm store. Raw goat’s milk is only available on the farm.

Available as part of their annual CSA subscription, Red Acre Farm provides their members with a herd share – a chance to partake of the bounty of their cows’ and goats’ raw milk.
