Grid City Beers

Craft beer, wine varietal craft hard seltzer, and brewpub

Grid City Beer Works is intently focused on creating approachable, traditional styles of beer that deliver satisfying body, mouthfeel, and flavor.

We start with the finest ingredients and utilize traditional brewing and pouring techniques to showcase the beauty that lies in the simplicity of Czech Pilsner and English Ale styles of beer. We also explore the bounds of creativity with our Bubble Works line of craft hard seltzers, which begin with hand-selected wine grape varieties, such as Pinot Noir, Muscat Canelli, Gewürztraminer, and Sauvignon Blanc, and an array of botanical ingredients to deliver a sparkling wine cocktail inspired experience. You can find our products at a handful of outlets throughout Utah, and in-person at our brewpub at 333 West 2100 South in South Salt Lake that features a rotating menu of specials, dog-friendly rooftop deck, and always a relaxing atmosphere hosted by our friendly beertenders.

Reviews:

This is a wonderful little brewery with good beer and truly exceptional food. The vegan options are very very good. My wife had the fried catfish which was fluffy and tender. I had the fall vegan bowl. That was really very good and I’m not even a vegan. Highly recommended. People are super nice.” – Aristides Ioannides, Google Review

Very impressed with this place. Friendly and professional service; warm vibe; good beer served on cask, nitro, and lurk for us beer geeks. Solid food as well, including healthy choices. Best brewery I’ve been to in SLC.” – Eric Borlaug, Google Review

This place really is amazing. Food and beer both. Always order the special seasonal. Even if the ingredient list is a mile long. The brew master really knows how to balance a complex beer. Today it’s a Madagascar Vanilla & Blueberry Infused Nitro Honey Cream Ale. Not too sweet, really well balanced.” – Joseph Simko, Google Review

Grid City Beer Works was formed by three close friends with a passion for sharing great beer over simply delicious food with excellent company. We opened our brewpub at 333 West 2100 South in SLC in March of 2020, the same week that everything in the world went on pause.

Inspired to innovate and pivot from this adversity, we started out distributing our flagship beers (Pilsner, Hoppy Pilsner, Honey Cream Ale, Brown Ale, and Pale Ale) to each of the Whole Foods Markets in Utah and homed in on developing a line of high point (stronger than 5% ABV) seltzers that combine select wine varietal juices and botanical ingredients to deliver a uniquely satisfying drinking experience. Everything we do at Grid City, from presenting our beers in traditional cask, nitro, and Czech poured fashion, to crafting a food menu that features rotating daily specials at our pub, and forging new boundaries of flavor combinations in our wine juice based Bubble Works seltzers is intent on delivering the experience of Taste (sensation and perception of flavor), Balance (aesthetically pleasing harmony of ingredients), and Finish (final impression) in all things related to the experience of enjoying beer.
