Jalapeño jelly was anything but common in the late 1980s but Michele Trover always loved bringing new experiences, flavor, and flair to her family’s holiday gatherings. Her family and friends were introduced to this “condiment with a kick” over a block of cream cheese and crackers. Later it was included as a “secret ingredient” in many of her gourmet recipes, barbeque marinades, and glazes. It wasn’t long before everyone wanted a jar of the green stuff for their next gathering. Word spread, orders started coming in by the case, and in 1990 Pepperlane Products was established in the mountains of Wanship, Utah. Today, Pepperlane has a new home in Midway, Utah and is on course for an exciting future with unlimited possibilities.
