Homemade Apple Cider


8-10 Utah apples
1/2-1 cup sugar
4 tbsp cinnamon (or 4 cinnamon sticks)
4 tbsp allspice


1. Quarter apples
2. Add apples into large pot & fill with water till apples are covered
3. Add sugar
4. Wrap your cinnamon & allspice in a doubled up cheese cloth & tie, add to apples & water
5. Boil uncovered on high for one hour
6. On low heat, let simmer for two hours
7. Remove heat & let cool
8. Remove spices & mash apples to a pulp like consistency
9. Once cool, strain over bowl
