Vosen’s Bread Paradise is an authentic German bakery serving traditional breads and pastries made from recipes brought over from the old world or developed by Markus Vosen with the same technique that German Master Bakers used for centuries.
We make German breads, rolls, sheet cakes, pastries, and pretzels. We also serve coffee and sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our recipes are not the only authentic German aspect of our bakery. From the smallest pan to our 10,000 lbs. oven, we imported every piece of equipment directly from Germany to create an authentic experience. Another important aspect of our business would be that we don’t use any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. None of our breads contain any added sugars or fats. The average bread is made from nothing but flour, water, sourdough, salt and yeast. It’s a pretty simple list, isn’t it? And when the addition of fat is necessary for the characteristics of the product, we use only butter – never shortening or margarine.

Vosen’s Bread Paradise, Inc. was founded in April 1997 by Markus Vosen and his wife Silvia. They opened their doors on April 7th and presented Salt Lake City with the most authentic German bakery goods this city had ever seen.
Over the past 20 years, we have established ourselves as THE German bakery in Utah. Our growth over the years inspired us to move our baking facility into a large warehouse and our retail location into a newer building. Even though the workload has increased and we’ve hired more employees, we still stick to the same superb quality, the same caring customer service, and the same old-world attitude of being the bakery with the personal touch.
