we're well aware the last thing you'll want to do is spend hours
and hours in front of the stove or oven. What better time to enjoy
a rich, velvety milkshake brimming with flavor you can only get from ripe, local peaches?

Fresh Peach Milkshake


[Serves 2]
2-3 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
2 cups vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
1/2 cup milk or heavy cream [or equal parts milk and buttermilk if you like a little tang!]
3/4 tsp vanilla
whipped cream, optional


Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
