Gracie’s Farm

Nestled in a valley in Wanship, UT at almost 6000’ in elevation is Gracie’s Farm. Our female team of FarmHers strive to produce organic, sustainable, produce that is not only good for us, but the land around us. Growing on around an acre, we utilize our hoop house, green house, caterpillar tunnels, row cover, and cover crop to compensate for a short growing season and get the most out of every harvest.

Here at Gracie’s we specialize in a diverse array of vegetables : tomatoes, eggplant, pepper, salad greens, lettuce, kale, collards, turnips, radishes, carrots, potatoes, zucchini, summer squash, potatoes, garlic, herbs, and more. We also grow flowers for cutting & pollination.

We also offer numerous farm experiences throughout the summer and winter seasons. Every month we host a farm dinner that highlights what is fresh on the farm. We host workshops such as floral arrangements, pickling, and beekeeping as well as winter experiences such as medicinal tea making, salve & balm making, and eco-printing with forageables.

This is the best nursery in the valley. I have been shopping there since Alex opened his doors. It gets bigger and better every year. I’m so grateful to have this wonderful garden center just a mile from my home.

A great little Farmer’s market open on weekdays. Just what I was wishing for! Besides local produce, they have an interesting selection of other locally made products. And they are located right on State Street so are easy to get to.

Heath’s Blends

With all of the great brands and flavors of seasoning blends out there, we at Heath’s Blends felt there was still something missing. Thus, we created our own line of select blends—each designed to fill that gap. We add a unique depth of flavor to all foods, unlike anything you have experienced. We want your food to burst with flavor, every time, and with every dish. We hope you enjoy our blends as much as we do, and it is our desire to help you expand your taste buds. Enjoy some Southwest Sizzler, Havana Heaven, Lone Star Steak, Moroccan Blend, and more. You’ll also find great grilling gift baskets and seasoning sets.

We understand how important it is to use only the freshest and cleanest herbs and spices. We continually search for only the best ingredients to add to our wonderful blends, constantly sampling and testing for cleanliness and purity of color, taste, and aroma. All of which can make a large difference on the taste and the consistency of our blends. This allows us to be an artisan company, and to give you the finest gourmet line possible.

Red Acre Farm

We at Red Acre Farm, in the pastoral Cedar Valley and the beautiful red dirt of southern Utah, are dedicated to promoting and modeling the small family farm by growing natural foods that sustain our land, our neighbors, and our souls.

We grow over 177 varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. We use a variety of seeds: saved, heirloom, biodynamic, organic, certified organic, and open pollinated. We never use GMO (genetically modified) seeds. Become a member of our CSA today.

As a small farm we have the advantage of growing produce for exceptional qualities of aroma, flavor, color, and texture. We promote a healthy farm organism through composting, cover crops, crop rotation, and compost teas. We never use herbicides, pesticides, or commercial fertilizer. By utilizing these methods, we produce food superior to those labeled as “Certified Organic” because of recent changes that allow a certain percentage of non-organic substances to be added in the process of growing certified organic food. With less confidence in food labeled “organic,” consumers have even more responsibility to know where, when, and how their food was produced— a feat made much easier by personally knowing the grower.

Red Acre farms has excellent quality products and we love having the option of picking up goods at the farm on non-farmers market days! We especially love their bread and greens. The family has the best customer service around and they have outstanding presentation and charisma at the farmers market. This is a great resource for the community!
