Alpine Distilling

Locally-Owned Craft Distillery

The modern, discerning consumer seeks more than small volume production to be deemed craft. They demand distilling and aging expertise, best-in-class flavors, and cocktail examples. For those consumers, we produce our spirit portfolio. We are flavorists—curating grains, woods, berries, fruits, and roots to craft our award-winning products.

Sara Sergent is Alpine’s Master Distiller and the most decorated botanical distiller in America. A “Warden Rectifier” member of the prestigious London Gin Guild, her botanicals are sourced from around the world and treated to 100-percent vapor extraction at a proprietary formula of “proof, pressure, and speed” in Park City, Utah. The results speak for themself: “Gin of the Year”; Gold Medal London; 4-times Top Gin Distillery by USA Today; twice awarded “Best in Class” at the TAG Awards Las Vegas; Double Gold Medals at Women Wine & Spirits London; SIP Awards California; and TOP50 in New York. In addition, Sergent crafts botanical spirits for Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley (named the top luxury hotel in the world), St. Regis Deer Valley, Auberge Properties, Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club, and Capital One.

Our whiskey portfolio is highly decorated, earning “Spirit of the Year” and the highest 98-point rating in 2024 for Triple Oak, and is respectful of our Kentucky family history. Our grains are sourced from the finest U.S. farms, and we source Kentucky yeast to ensure that only the highest quality spirit is created. We distill on an American Pot Still and then age in toasted, American Oak barrels. Working closely with two cooperages for our Appalachian Oak and Arkansas Oak barrels, with select toasting and char levels adjusted for our preference, we are able to craft ultra-premium whiskies that are the private collection and premier offerings for GroveXXIII, Total Wine & More, Binny’s, and numerous athletes, musicians, entrepreneurs, and spirit connoisseurs.

Reviews:

Seriously sooo good! My husband likes gin and tonic and I like Vodka and whiskey. The vodka is so smooth you almost don’t know it in there and the whiskey has a unique flavor that makes it better to sip than mix. My husband says the gin has a great smooth flavor. We would definitely recommend. Shipping it to Illinois is well worth it!” – Jennica Finchum, Facebook Review

A craft spirits distillery in Park City elevates Utah’s image when it comes to alcohol! Love the flavorful offerings, especially Preserve Liqueur, which pairs well in many cocktails.” – Hilary Reiter, Google Review

Alpine’s flavored bourbon whiskey might be the best whiskey I have ever tasted. Straight up, on the rocks, or mixed this whiskey is absolutely delicious!!” – Joseph Zavatsky, Google Review

Rob is a Kentucky-bred whiskey Master Distiller and Sara is a Scottish trained botanist.

Sara’s love of botanicals started with her grandmother, who used to host the parish Priest at their home once a week for Gin & Tonics, garnished with local fruit. If a spirit could bond these two, something in it must be special, she thought. That curiosity led to a Diploma in Gin, studies at the Royal Botanical Gardens and a pursuit of the understanding of the power of roots, fruits, berries and florals that could lift spirits, heal illness or just provide pleasure.
