SodaBeers has been brewing distinctive craft sodas in Utah since 1964. The SodaBeers family includes Ginger Beer, Butterscotch Beer, Creamy Vanilla Root Beer and our prized Apple Beer®, and low-calorie Apple Beer® FIVE. These soft drinks include the finest ingredients with a refreshingly light combination of sweetness and fizz. After receiving 12 best of state awards for best beverage made in Utah, in 2020 we won the best of state statue for the best product made in Utah!
We have been family-owned and operated for nearly 60 years, the SodaBeers tradition began with a refreshing German soft drink called Apple Beer®. Bavarian Biermeisters developed our unique formula almost a century ago as an alternative to beer. They blended Sicilian apples with natural herbs and spices calling it “Fassbrause”- the soft drink with a foamy head. We discovered the drink and brought it to Utah in 1964 calling it Apple Beer, Utah’s original Gourmet soda. Apple Beer has been packaged and sold along the Wasatch Front ever since. Apple Beer’s trademarked name is truly singular. It literally defines itself as a distinct product category. Trademarking has insured that we have been and will continue to be the world’s only Apple Beer.

I’ve been drinking this stuff since it was sold in steel cans. Apple Beer is part of my best memories as a kid and I’m happy I’ve been able to make it part of my kids’ memories too.
