Bountiful Exotics Nursery

Ken Isaac, owner of Bountiful Exotics Nursery, has been growing unique and unbelievable plants his whole life, just north of Salt Lake City. Hardy bananas, palm trees, and redwood trees are yard fixtures. In 2007, when nobody believed figs could survive a Northern Utah winter, he bought one for the backyard. Nearly two decades later, that same mother tree is the source of Utah Heritage Fig™ — a locally acclimated variety with 18 years of Bountiful growing data behind it. Bountiful Exotics Nursery exists because Utah gardeners are limited by what “shouldn’t” grow here. By appointment in Bountiful, Ken offers figs, pomegranates, and a curated selection of fruits and berries proven in his own yard — serviceberry, elderberry, chokecherry, Nanking cherry, pawpaw, persimmon, and honeyberry. If it’s on the list, it survived Utah winters and fed his family first. Because this is a working nursery, stock fluctuates by the season — contact Ken and have a chat about what YOU can grow.
