Nettlesome Pantry

Artisan Herbal Soaps

The Nettlesome Pantry is a small handcrafted soap company based in Ogden, Utah. Handcrafting artisanal herbal soaps in small batches is our mission. Infusing the power of herbs and spices into every batch to bring you incredible skincare and gift options. Our soaps are all made with plant oils, real essential oils and locally grown botanicals. Experience the difference with our luxury handcrafted soap, where nature meets elegance. Transform your daily cleansing routine into a moment of indulgence and serenity. No SLS, No palm oil, No Forever Chemicals, Vegan, Off-Grid safe. Real Soap, with Real Smells, from Real Plants.

The most frequently asked question from customers at local markets is, “Is that edible?”. Although my soaps are made only with plant-based ingredients, I wouldn’t recommend eating it. I love creating soaps that smells so incredible and look so beautiful you want to eat them or display them everywhere in your house.

The second most asked question is, what are the best sellers? Those would be: “A Fresh Start” Grapefruit and Cedarwood, “The Charmer” Tea tree, lavender and charcoal, “Breathe Easy” Eucalyptus, lavender and grapefruit”.

Nettlesome Pantry was born out of a desire to create an herbal soap that I would actually want to use. For years I’ve struggled to find soap that I can feel great about using on my skin and hair and also wash my dishes with when I’m off grid. I wanted a soap that had real aromas that I could easily identify as a plant I knew. I had been studying herbalism for 10 years and wanted to bring my herbal knowledge to people in a way the would be enjoyable to all 5 senses. Plants have so many incredible qualities to share with us that I wanted to bring that to people in a way that is unique, rememberable and above all functional and useful.

I started Nettlesome Pantry in 2021 in my small home studio. It’s grown since then and I have traveled all over Utah attending festivals and markets and getting to know all of the wonderful handcrafted soap lovers around Utah.
