Snider Bros. Meats is built on a proud six-generation butchering legacy that began in the 1920s in the heart of Texas. Over the decades, the family’s craft and reputation traveled across the coastal West, shaping a tradition rooted in skill, integrity, and community. That legacy continues today through Will Wilson, a sixth-generation butcher whose lifelong dedication to the trade reflects the values passed down through generations.

Will and his wife, Amy Wilson—100% co-owners—opened Snider Bros. Meats in Salt Lake City in 1992 as a true husband-and-wife shop. Will moved to Utah from California to help support his grandfather’s newly opened market in Ogden, where he met Amy, who would later become his wife and business partner. Today, Snider Bros. Meats remains a family-run operation, with two of their children, Jacob and Rachael, managing the shop daily, while Will and Amy continue to stay actively involved—lending a hand, sharing stories, and welcoming customers who have been part of the Snider Bros. family for decades.
