Solstice Tallow began as the desire for a natural alternative for other skincare products that contain chemicals and artificial ingredients that are harmful and can potentially cause severe damage to your body and can irritate sensitive skin.
As a sufferer of eczema I was frustrated with creams and treatments that provided no relief. After hearing about tallow I tried a few brands and was put off by the smell and texture. So I decided to render my own and the results have been transformative. I personally hand harvest all of our tallow from high quality beef raised here in Utah and carefully render in small batches over several hours to preserve the precious nutrients.
