Spiny Lettuce Farm keeps things simple: our 100% beeswax candles are wicked with 100% domestically sourced cotton wicks. Our hand poured, pure beeswax candles emit bright, long-lasting light. The white powder you see on the surface of our candles is known as bloom. It is an indication of the wax’s purity and can be buffed off with a soft cloth.
We love when people burn our candles! To do so most safely, never burn a candle unattended. Always burn candles on level, fire resistant surfaces. Keep candles away from flammable objects, children, and pets. To maximize burn length, dam wax runs with other wax and trim wicks to ¼” every 30 minutes or as needed. Stop use when at least ¼” of wax remains. To extinguish, immerse wick in a wax pool or use a candle snuffer.
