A Place to Come to Farms (fresh fruits, vegetables, and greens), Herbal Embrace (hand-crafted herbal teas, skin care, and bath products)

The fresh vegetables, fruits, greens, and medicinal herbs we grow on A Place to Come to Farms never see a synthetic or isolated chemical – not even the ones approved for organic growing. As permaculture designers, we are constantly experimenting and watching for nature to teach us true principles as we grow soil, food, micro-climates, and habitat. More and more of the herbs in our Herbal Embrace products come from our own beyond-organic farm! We are dedicated to promoting Regenerative Agriculture and Permaculture principles, empowering others to learn how to use medicinal plants to build a regenerative life, delivering products that WORK without compromising on ingredients, and seeking the most eco-friendly packaging that safely delivers the product to you.

Our Herbal Embrace products feature chemical-free hand-crafted Loose-Leaf Herbal Tea Blends that work AND taste good, as well as small-batch lotion bars, massage oils, hair oils, shampoo bars, bath blends, and other skin and bath product that promote healthy skin without the use of harsh or endocrine-disrupting chemicals. All the herbs in our teas, skin, and bath products are grown on our farm, wildcrafted responsibly from local areas, or certified organic and wildcrafted herbs from reputable companies with extensive quality testing. Our formulas are all created or curated by Sarah, a certified Master Herbalist. Loose-leaf tea is much more active in providing nutrition and healing for the body, without the microplastics and contamination found in thermoplastic tea bags. We promise you will feel the difference with just one cup of home-brewed loose-leaf herbal tea!

Michael & Sarah Vezzani
Certified Permaculture Designers & Master Herbalist (Sarah)

From Chemical Engineer to Mom and now also Permaculture Designer and Master Herbalist (certified by Dr. Christopher’s School of Natural Healing), Sarah lights up finding new ways to help Herbal Newbies learn to incorporate botanical remedies into their daily lives. Mike patiently entertains her grand ideas for becoming an Herb Farmer in the desert and does most of the heavy-lifting!
In our adult lives, health issues popped up that we couldn’t find answers for in the conventional system. We did our own research and made a lot of changes about what we put into our bodies, onto our bodies, and around our bodies. At the same time, we felt a growing call to live a more natural life, more connected with the natural world. We wanted to raise our family fully present, rooted in natural principles. In 2020 we found a Homesteading Community that was starting up and jumped right in. Our 2-acre homestead started with nothing but dirt and tumbleweeds and now grows over 100 species of plants, shrubs, and trees and provides new habitat for pollinators, frogs, reptiles, birds, and other wildlife. We have named our farmstead A Place to Come To in reference to Wendell Berry’s writings on how the family farm has become a place to leave rather than a place to come to. We seek to reverse this in our family’s life, and make our life a symbol of the “Hope that is within us” (1 Peter 3:15).
We invite you to follow our journey on Facebook and Instagram and join Sarah’s Facebook Community, “The Herb-Powered Pregnancy” – where we discuss nutrition, herbs, and lifestyle choices that lead to wellness for women in their Childbearing Year (pre-conception through postpartum and beyond!).
Be well and find the joy!
