Rockhill Creamery

Rockhill Creamery cheeses are handcrafted by Pete Schropp and Jennifer Hines at our micro-dairy in Northern Utah. Our historic farm with its signature old granary is set in Cache Valley, where dairy farming and cheese making are long-standing traditions. All our raw milk cheeses are made in small batches using traditional cultures. They ripen in our underground aging room for at least 60 days to ensure the proper development and height of flavor. Their natural rinds allow the wheels to develop complex flavors as they age. We are firm believers in using natural, sustainable practices that will leave our little piece of paradise better than we found it. We are committed to the health of our animals and the well-being of our land.

South Meadow Produce

At South Meadows Produce we focus on production that will improve the land and soil and still be profitable. Chemical insecticides, while not totally shunned have not been sprayed on our produce for many years. High tunnel production is used to extend the growing season. We welcome visitors if they will call ahead of time to set up an appointment. We sell “Nature’s Candy”.

Smith’s Orchards

Smiths Orchard grows more than 20 varieties of peaches and nectarines including Early Elberta (perfect canning peach), Canadian Harmony, Suncrest, Red Haven, Flamming Fury (four varieties), Rising Star, Blazing Star, 0’Henry, Brenda Sun, and White Peaches (4 varieties).

We also grow more than 20 apple varieties: June, Lowdi, Fugi (early and late), Honey Crisp, Rome Beauty (3 varieties), Red Delicious (4 varieties), Jonathan (2 varieties) Myers, Arkanasas Black, Winesap, Ida Red, Golden Delicious, Granny Smiths, and Gala.

My favorite thing to buy from Smith Orchards is the Bing cherries. It is the most common variety in Utah, but their Bings are still some of the best around. They have some varieties of apriums that are excellent and other excellent varieties of cherries.

Wasatch Community Gardens

Wasatch Community Gardens offers 50 workshops each year, so there is certainly a class or two or many for you. We’re offering over a dozen new workshops and working labs this year, so we’ve got plenty on the agenda even for those who’ve already taken lots of our classes.

McBride’s Briar Patch

We are a family-owned and family-friendly U-Pick Raspberry patch in Mapleton, Utah. Although raspberries are our main crop, we do grow strawberries, blackberries, apples, and peaches. We have a sandbox for children to play in and a nice picnic area.

Come enjoy a day picking berries with your family. Groups are welcome—just call ahead. Looking for a fun date idea? Bring a picnic lunch, pick some berries, and pick some flowers as you leave. Perfect.
