We are a six generation, family owned vegetable farm in Bountiful & Farmington, UT that has been in operation since 1902.

We grow a variety of vegetables and harvest them from May-October on about 100 acres.

Alan , Charles , Nicklas & Bryce Bangerter

Founders

Bangerter Family Farm started in 1902 with the purchase of farm acreage by Nicklas Bangerter who was a renowned farmer in Bountiful, Utah. In 1906, his son Orson N. Bangerter was married and soon built a home on the property and started to farm it as his own. He raised 12 children on the farm (10 boys) and farmed until his death in 1946. He called his operation : Orson N. Bangerter and Sons.

His son, Charles W. Bangerter was born on the farm in 1918 and worked on it continually for over 80 years until his death in 1999. ‘Charlie’ worked with his father and then took over the farm upon Orson’s death. He raised 6 children on the farm. He called his operation Chas. W. Bangerter and Sons. In 1951, the current owner, Alan Bangerter and his 3 sons are operating the farm (Charles, Nicklas and Bryce). Charles, Nicklas, & Bryce each have a few children, so there has been 6 generations farming this same property over the years.
