Mixed Berry Sauce

Berry Sauce
  • 4 cups mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1-2 Tbs lemon juice (to taste)
  • 1 pinch salt
Reserve 1 cup of berries and combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer for about 10 minutes or until sugar has dissolved. Adjust sugar and lemon juice to taste. Puree berry mixture in a food processor or blender. Add reserved berries. Enjoy warm or cold.
